Zoë began her experience in film and television as a teenager, shadowing on high-end TV dramas including 'Poirot' and 'Downton Abbey'. Through this she developed a passion for period storytelling, pursuing this in her own short films.
'Adrift', her second short film, was selected to open the Titanic Museum in Belfast and went on to screen at festivals around the UK. This was followed up with 'Sunset Rose', a 1940s set noir film, selected to open for Macbeth (2015) at Bath Film Festival, and screened at London Short Film Festival and British Shorts Berlin among others. Her films have featured on Directors' UK, Hollywomen and several independent film blogs.
She is an alumnus of the BFI Film Academy and 'The Network', Edinburgh Television Festival's prestigious talent scheme.
More recently, Zoë was nominated for the BFI Future Film Award, selected as a BAFTA Guru Pro, one of 50 emerging filmmakers in the UK, and announced 'One to Watch' by filmmaking platform Hiive.
