4TALENT PROJECTS
2017-18

Across 2017, I worked with Channel 4 to create a series of engaging short form content for 4Talent's social media channels. This included devising a year long schedule of content, directing a presenter and interviewing young contributors at 4Talent events.

'Apprenticeship Tips: 30 seconds with.....'
The purpose was to create snappy, short content for 4Talent's Twitter to attract young people to apply for the 4Talent Apprenticeship scheme. Interviewing young apprentices currently working at Channel 4 and Head of 4Talent Laura Boswell, we incorporated motion graphics to move away from a traditional 'talking heads' video. The videos were released at peak times in a mini series to encourage engagement with our 16-25 audience.

'Spotlight attendees'
With the desire to incorporate more co-creation into the 4Talent videos, I devised 'spotlight attendees' as a way to inform prospective attendees of 'a day in the life' at the 4Talent days in a less obviously promotional way. Incorporating footage shot by the attendees themselves, they then promoted the videos via their own social media circles, thereby increasing the 4Talent following.

'4Screenwriting 2017'
Working with 4Drama, I created a longer video charting the journey of young writers through the 4Screenwriting scheme. The idea was to create a 'mini doc' giving a thorough overview of the structure of the two weekends, and gain insight into the growth of each writer through the scheme.
